Hi, Les, I have a Telechron Kithenguide clock that has been in our family about 60 years or so. I found that it was made after the war years 1945 to 1949. I can’t find anything on the clock that tells the date of manufacture. I know the motor has been replaced in it, due to a lightning strike, back in the mid ’50s. Do you know exactly when in the ’40s this clock was made? It has the square numeral placement, and it is a yellowish colored clock. Thanks for any help you can give me. Both of my parents passed away last year, and my brothers don’t remember when dad bought it.

Richard. Thanks for your comment. I don’t think that your clock can be dated accurately, especially since the motor has been replaced. This is the first definite information I have had of a clock damaged by lightning.
