The title was originally chosen to be search engine friendly, and to give  give an indication of the content of the pages in general terms. The pages have evolved over the years, and there are now numerous subpages. A more approptiate subtitle is now, ‘Biography, fatigue and fracture, flexagons, Meccano, publications, stained glass, synchronous clocks, etc.’.

The new subtitle is based on site visit statistics and on comments posted.  Rarely, or never, visited pages have been taken down. New pages and subpages have been created as appropriate. Some pages and subpages have been revised.

The pages and subpages are not intended as a direct source of income.
